Referrals Richard S. Pauli was
born in San Francisco, California and
raised in the Menlo Park area south of
the city. Dr. Pauli attended
Bellarmine Preparatory School, a Jesuit
High School in San Jose. After
graduation he attended college
at Santa Clara University and the University of
Oregon. Upon graduating from the
University of Washington's dental school
he entered the United States Public
Health Service, Commissioned Corp.
Dr. Pauli was stationed with the U.S.
Coast Guard at Alameda, California
before moving to Anchorage, Alaska in
June of 1970. Dr. Pauli has
managed his dental practice in Alaska
for thirty six years.
Dr. Pauli maintains a practice
dedicated to personalized, high quality
restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with a strong emphasis on
prevention of decay, gum disease and occlusal trauma and its related
pathology.
Rich has studied extensively
with Dr. Gordon Christensen, D.D.S. and
Dr. Peter Dawson, D.D.S. Both are
world renown clinicians and educators.
His interests include
steelhead fishing, sheep hunting,
photography, hiking, skeet shooting, and
his Llewellyn Setter, Simon.
Dr. Pauli has flown extensively
throughout Alaska and holds a commercial
pilot's license with multi-engine
instrument and
sea plane ratings. He has piloted
aircraft in size from the super cub to
the 737.
He has three daughters who are
all artists. Sarah and Amber have
industrial design degrees, the
manufacturing side of art and Adria is
currently pursuing an architectural
degree in Los Angeles. Sarah
designs and manufactures jewelry
and is currently raising a family in
Cuernavaca, Mexico with her husband Rafael. Rafael is a young artist
with considerable talent.
His favorite places on earth
are the north eastern Brooks Range,
having spent over three months sheep
hunting there, and any stream with a
steelhead run.
Dr. Pauli is considered by his peers
to be one of Alaska's finest dentist. |
